On September 5, during the opening ceremony of the new academic year, the GrowMax Scholarship Fund, in cooperation with the Vietnam Agriculture & Environment Newspaper, presented scholarships to disadvantaged students in Khanh Hoa Province. This annual activity has been consistently maintained to provide timely support for children from coastal communities.
A total of 25 scholarships, each valued at 1 million VND, were awarded to students at Van Thanh Primary and Secondary School (Dam Mon Hamlet, Dai Lanh Commune) and Lac Tien Primary School (Lac Tien Hamlet, Thuan Nam Commune). Beyond financial support, the scholarships serve as a powerful source of encouragement, motivating students to continue their studies.
Nguyen Van Dai, Central Region 2 Director of GrowMax Group, emphasized: “Awarding scholarships at the start of the school year adds even greater value, as it marks the beginning of the students’ journey of knowledge. GrowMax wishes to accompany and share the difficulties of fishing families, so their children will not miss out on education due to financial hardship. We hope these scholarships will strengthen the children’s confidence, nurturing their dreams and aspirations to become valuable citizens.”

For many families in Dai Lanh Commune (formerly Van Thanh), life is difficult due to unstable fishing incomes and frequent aquaculture disease outbreaks. In such circumstances, ensuring children can attend school is a major challenge. The GrowMax scholarships have become a precious support, enabling families to purchase uniforms, books, and school supplies.
Nguyen Cong Hoan, Principal of Van Thanh Primary and Secondary School, shared: “Our school has more than 1,000 students, most of them children of fishermen. These scholarships are truly timely, bringing joy and confidence to students on opening day. They are not only financial gifts but also heartfelt messages that the children are not alone on their educational journey.”
Among the recipients were students facing especially difficult circumstances.

These scholarships not only provide direct support for students but also inspire the broader community, spreading the spirit of solidarity and compassion. Each gift carries a message of hope, making the road to school less difficult for disadvantaged children.
Mr. Nguyen Van Dai further noted that GrowMax not only focuses on business development but also places great importance on corporate social responsibility. As a pioneer in Vietnam’s aquafeed industry, GrowMax is committed to sustainable growth rooted in human values. Supporting students in disadvantaged communities is a testament to that commitment.
For students, opening day is always a joyful occasion. But for those from struggling families, that joy is multiplied when timely scholarships from GrowMax provide relief and encouragement.

School leaders, teachers, and parents expressed their gratitude, recognizing the scholarships as valuable encouragement. Though modest in material value, they carry profound meaning, helping students take firmer steps on their journey of knowledge.
In the innocent eyes of the children, joy mixed with emotion shone brightly on opening day. From these meaningful scholarships, countless dreams will continue to be nurtured and take flight. Above all, they are proof that community care and compassion will always accompany these small footsteps on the road to school.
