GrowMax Brings Support to Disadvantaged Students in Binh Khanh

20 scholarships were awarded by GrowMax and the Vietnam Agriculture & Environment Newspaper to disadvantaged students at Binh Khanh Secondary School on the occasion of the 2025–2026 school year opening.

On the morning of September 5, amid the vibrant atmosphere of the new academic year’s opening ceremony, Binh Khanh Secondary School (Binh Khanh Commune, Ho Chi Minh City) welcomed meaningful support from GrowMax Aquafeed Co., Ltd. in cooperation with the Vietnam Agriculture & Environment Newspaper. Twenty scholarships were presented directly to disadvantaged students, giving them motivation and encouragement to step into the new school year.

From early morning, the schoolyard was filled with flags and flowers. The sound of the school drum marked the start of the new year, while many students, holding envelopes of support, displayed a mix of joy and emotion on their faces.

Each scholarship, valued at 1 million VND in cash, was funded by the GrowMax Scholarship Fund, contributed by the company’s employees. GrowMax representatives emphasized that the initiative was not only material support but also a message of companionship and care for families and schools.

Mr. Nguyen Van Dung shared: “We hope this support will help students cover expenses for books, uniforms, and school supplies. Through this program, GrowMax encourages students to strive harder, because only through education can poverty be overcome. Beyond families and schools, society and businesses are always here to accompany and support them.”

In 2025, GrowMax plans to continue this program in many other provinces and cities nationwide as part of its broader social welfare strategy, promoting the spirit of learning and nurturing dreams for disadvantaged children.

At Binh Khanh Secondary School, this support is particularly meaningful. Principal Truong Huu Phuoc shared: “Our school currently has over 700 disadvantaged students. The support from GrowMax and its partners is a noble gesture, greatly motivating the children and giving them more determination to study.”

Among the recipients, Nguyen Ngoc Phuong Uyen, a 9th grader, said emotionally: “My parents are farmers with unstable income, so the beginning of the school year is always difficult for my family. This scholarship helps us afford books and uniforms. I promise to study hard to make my teachers and supporters proud.”

Dao Thanh Tung, a 6th grader, shyly stepped onto the stage to receive his scholarship, tightly holding the envelope with a bright smile as he returned to his seat. He shared that the support not only reduced the financial burden for his family but also reminded him to work harder in his studies.

Beyond financial support, the GrowMax Scholarship Fund carries the mission of inspiring disadvantaged students, especially in coastal and remote areas, to continue their educational journey. With this foundation, they can build a brighter future and contribute as knowledgeable, resilient young citizens to the nation’s development.
