In the field of high-tech agriculture, GrowMax was honored for its Specific TPD functional food products and the water circulation – biosafety shrimp farming process.
On the afternoon of May 16, the Ministry of Science and Technology organized the program “Vietnam Science and Technology Festival 18/5” in 2025. This event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung, along with leaders of ministries, central agencies and localities.
According to the Organizing Committee, the theme of Vietnam Science and Technology Festival 2025 is “Science, technology, innovation and digital transformation: Breakthroughs to bring the country into a prosperous and prosperous era”.
This theme demonstrates the determination and strategic vision of the Party, the State and the entire science and technology sector (S&T) on the core role of knowledge, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the journey of national development.

Speaking at the program, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung emphasized that science and technology, innovation and digital transformation have truly become the fundamental factors, the launching pad for Vietnam to rise up in the digital age.
“Science and technology, innovation and digital transformation are not only the driving force for economic growth, but also the foundation for building a safe, humane and prosperous digital Vietnam. This is also a strategic tool to improve labor productivity, protect the environment, respond to climate change and improve the quality of life of the people…”, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung commented.
Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee honored 10 organizations and individuals who have had outstanding achievements and made great contributions to the development of the country’s science and technology sector in the past year. These are all achievements with high practical application value, contributing to solving urgent problems of the country. At the same time, improving the quality of life for the people.
The honoring activity not only recognizes and honors the outstanding contributions of scientists, businesses, research institutes and universities, but also strongly spreads the spirit of innovation, arouses the motivation to contribute in the community, towards the sustainable development of Vietnam.
In the field of high-tech science applied to practice, GrowMax High-Tech Aquaculture Joint Stock Company was honored for its functional feed products Specific TPD, which helps to absolutely prevent and support the treatment of TPD disease in shrimp and “High-tech shrimp farming process with circulating water – GrowMax Biosafety”, which helps to absolutely prevent EHP disease.
This achievement not only helps to optimize production and reduce costs for shrimp farmers in Vietnam and many other countries, but also builds a “Quality shrimp feed brand, reputable for Vietnamese people” in the Vietnamese and international markets.

Sharing with reporters of the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper, Mr. Mai Van Hoang, General Director of GrowMax Group, said that GrowMax is a place that brings together a team of experts and engineers with extensive experience in the shrimp industry not only in Vietnam but also from many countries around the world.
GrowMax was established in June 2020 with people who have spent more than 20 years working together in the Vietnamese shrimp industry, having worked at international corporations, and clearly understanding the difficulties and shortcomings that Vietnamese shrimp farmers have had to endure for nearly 3 decades.
“Therefore, together we determined to build a Vietnamese shrimp feed brand, with superior quality, applying high science and technology, advanced farming techniques, and being able to compete with many other international brands present on the market at that time,” said Mr. Hoang.
The General Director of GrowMax Group emphasized: “We aim to build GrowMax into a professional, modern shrimp industry group, applying high technology and closing the entire shrimp industry value chain – from feed production, shrimp seeds, biological products, advanced and modern high-tech shrimp farming processes to shrimp processing for export… The goal is to create the highest production efficiency with the lowest possible production costs for shrimp farmers. Thereby supporting tens of thousands of Vietnamese shrimp farming households to get rich in a legitimate way in their homeland by creating useful products for society; thereby contributing to making the Vietnamese shrimp industry a world leader in productivity and quality”.
The recognition given to GrowMax at the Vietnam Science and Technology Festival today is not only a testament to GrowMax’s continuous innovation efforts, but also a motivation for the enterprise to continue its mission of accompanying farmers, affirming the position of the Vietnamese shrimp industry on the global shrimp industry map.
