
Continuing the journey of awarding scholarships to support students in provinces affected by natural disasters in 2024, on November 28, in Quang Ninh province, SGGP Newspaper coordinated with GrowMax Group (Loc An Industrial Park, Binh Son, Long An commune, Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province) to organize the awarding of scholarships to students of primary and secondary schools in Tien Yen district, Cam Pha city, Uong Bi city.

Mr. Dang Van Thanh, Director of the Northern region of GrowMax Group, shared that in recent days, together with SGGP Newspaper, he has felt the many shortcomings of students in the highlands.
Mr. Thanh affirmed that in the coming time, GrowMax Group will continue to accompany SGGP Newspaper to reach out to students in the Northwest region. Through the cooperation program between the newspaper and the group, he will call on friends and businesses to join in supporting disadvantaged students in mountainous provinces.

At Cong Hoa Primary and Secondary School, located in Hai Hoa commune, GrowMax Group awarded 25 scholarships to children in difficult circumstances due to the impact of storm No. 3.
Sharing with SGGP reporters, Mr. Hoang Van Tam, Principal of Cong Hoa Primary and Secondary School, said that the school has nearly 600 students, of which about 50% are Kinh ethnic group, the rest are from other ethnic groups. Many of the students come from difficult family circumstances, their parents mainly work in agriculture, forestry, fishing, and planting acacia trees for daily wages, leading to unstable income.
Mr. Tam shared that after receiving these scholarships, the school will thoroughly educate parents on how to use them for the right purposes.
“I also hope that you will receive gifts, feel honored and encouraged to continue pursuing your dreams,” the principal said.
