Giving bicycles to poor students in Dong Nai

On the occasion of the new school year 2024 – 2025, GrowMax Education Promotion Fund presented 25 bicycles to students in schools in Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province.

Accordingly, on the morning of October 14, representatives of GrowMax Education Promotion Fund were present at Loc An Primary School, Loc An commune, Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province. Here, Mr. Le Dong Hung, Director of GrowMax Group factory, presented 15 bicycles to poor students who have overcome difficulties, those who have the determination and will to excel in their studies.

Representatives of GrowMax Foundation presented 15 bicycles to disadvantaged students at Loc An Primary School.

“The GrowMax Scholarship Fund was established to support students in difficult circumstances, helping them receive small gifts, thereby motivating them to have more will and effort to excel in their studies. Only studying is the way out of poverty, helping them change their circumstances,” said Mr. Le Dong Hung.

In addition, GrowMax Company is committed to always maintaining this fund to help students in difficult circumstances have the opportunity to go to school and acquire knowledge.

“With these bicycles, we hope to help students have more confidence to firmly step on the path of education, thereby bringing benefits to themselves, their families and society,” Mr. Hung added.

In Loc An commune, where most residents live on farming such as growing fruit trees, raising livestock or working as workers in industrial parks, many households are facing difficulties, many of which have to live temporarily. Therefore, every year, Loc An Primary School regularly receives many students from difficult circumstances.

Among the 15 students receiving bicycles from the GrowMax Fund at Loc An Primary School, Dang Nguyen Nha Han, a 4th grader, could not hold back her tears when talking about her family’s circumstances. Han shared that her father passed away early, her mother was seriously ill and could not work, and the two of them lived in a rented room of only 20 square meters. Currently, Han and her mother live on her grandparents’ meager pension. Although she is only in 4th grade, every time school is over, Han helps her mother clean the house and cook.

Mr. Le Sy Cong, Principal of Loc An Primary School, expressed his deep gratitude to GrowMax Aquatic Feed Company Limited and Vietnam Agriculture Newspaper. He hopes that GrowMax Company and Vietnam Agriculture Newspaper, along with other benefactors, will continue to support, not only the students of the school, but also poor students throughout Dong Nai province.

Mr. Cong said that Loc An Primary School currently has 821 students, of which more than 140 are facing difficulties, from poor or near-poor households. Many of them have to live with their grandparents, lacking care from their parents. However, they still try hard to study, are polite to their teachers and often achieve good and excellent academic results.

On the same day, at Long An Primary School, Long An Commune, Long Thanh District, Dong Nai Province, representatives of the GrowMax Fund also presented 10 bicycles to students in difficult circumstances.
