Underprivileged students from Tam Quan Nam Secondary School (Hoai Nhon Ward, Gia Lai) and Xuan Loc 1 Primary School (Xuan Loc Commune, Đắk Lắk) were overjoyed to receive scholarships from GrowMax.
On the afternoon of September 22, representatives from GrowMax Central Region and the Vietnam Agriculture & Environment Newspaper visited Tam Quan Nam Secondary School to present 10 scholarships to 10 academically outstanding students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Each scholarship was valued at VND 1 million.

The spacious schoolyard of Tam Quan Nam was brightened by the smiles of hundreds of students, especially the ten scholarship recipients who welcomed the new school year with joy and excitement thanks to the timely support from GrowMax.
Huynh Huu Nguyen Anh, a student from class 8A2, emotionally shared his gratitude: “After having to take a year off due to lupus treatment, this year I’m finally able to return to school. The scholarship from GrowMax means so much to me.”

According to Principal Vo Dong Anh, many of the scholarship recipients face extremely difficult circumstances. “Some students live with grandparents because their parents are divorced or absent. Many guardians are elderly and no longer able to work, so affording school expenses is a serious challenge.”
“Tam Quan Nam is a primarily agricultural area, with some households engaged in fishing and aquaculture. The local economy remains difficult. Our school has 946 students, and although we haven’t completed a full assessment, we estimate that 50 to 100 of them are from disadvantaged backgrounds. We selected the ten most urgent cases to receive GrowMax scholarships. These scholarships come at just the right time — the beginning of the school year — and are a tremendous source of motivation and encouragement,” Principal Vo Dong Anh shared.
“Though modest in value, these GrowMax scholarships represent the heartfelt support of our company’s employees for students who are diligent, resilient, and eager to learn despite hardship,” said Mr. Nguyen Van Dai, Central Region 2 Director of GrowMax.
