Disadvantaged students at Vinh Phu Secondary School (Phu Gia Commune, Hue City) were filled with joy as they received scholarships directly from the GrowMax Scholarship Fund.
On October 1, GrowMax Group, in collaboration with the Vietnam Agriculture & Environment Newspaper, awarded 10 scholarships, each worth VND 1 million, to underprivileged but hardworking students at Vinh Phu Secondary School.
Nguyen Cong Tru, a Grade 8/2 student, couldn’t hide his happiness upon receiving the scholarship.
Tru comes from a poor household. His father passed away, and his mother suffers from heart disease and asthma, which makes working and supporting the family extremely difficult.
“I’m very grateful for this scholarship. It helps me cover my school expenses and support my family. I promise to keep studying hard and be a good student,” Tru shared.

According to Mr. Le Quoc Phu, Principal of Vinh Phu Secondary School, the school is located in a disadvantaged coastal zone near lagoons, where most families rely on agriculture and fishing.
The area still has a high percentage of poor and near-poor households.
“We are honored to receive the attention and support from GrowMax Group and other generous sponsors. These meaningful gifts ease the burden for our students and inspire them to study hard while also nurturing kindness and empathy in their hearts.”
Mr. Le Quang Vinh, GrowMax’s representative in Hue, shared: “Alongside providing high-quality products and effective solutions to support successful shrimp farming, GrowMax has always embraced its corporate social responsibility. The GrowMax Scholarship Fund was founded with this mission.”
“Though each scholarship may not be large in value, we hope it provides emotional encouragement and financial support, helping students stay motivated and become valuable contributors to their families and society,” he added.
