On September 22, the GrowMax Scholarship Fund awarded 20 scholarships to students from poor households in the coastal commune of Thạnh Phong, located in Vĩnh Long Province. The scholarships were granted to students from two primary schools: Giao Thạnh Primary School (Hamlet 3) and Thạnh Phong B Primary School (Thạnh Hòa Hamlet), with 10 scholarships per school.

At the event, Mr. Trần Trường Giang, Regional Manager of GrowMax Group, encouraged the students to stay resilient in their studies despite challenging circumstances.“Each scholarship is worth 1 million VND — though modest in value, we hope it can help cover essential school expenses during the first days of the new academic year,” he shared.
Mr. Giang also added that the GrowMax Scholarship Fund is now in its fifth year. It is funded by the collective contributions of the company’s Board of Directors, staff, and employees, with generous support from GrowMax’s dealers, partners, and customers.
“Alongside providing high-quality products and practical solutions to support successful shrimp farming, GrowMax also embraces its corporate social responsibility. The GrowMax Scholarship Fund stands as a meaningful example of our long-term commitment to the community,” Mr. Giang emphasized.

Thạnh Phong Commune, in Vĩnh Long Province, was formed by merging the former coastal communes of Thạnh Phong and Giao Thạnh from Thạnh Phú District, Bến Tre Province. These coastal rural areas are classified as socio-economically disadvantaged zones in Vietnam. The support from the GrowMax Scholarship Fund has helped ease the financial burden for many families whose children are struggling to stay in school.
Mr. Nguyễn Phú Khánh, Principal of Giao Thạnh Primary School, shared: “This academic year, our school has 18 classes with a total of 558 students. About 10% of them are from poor households. The students receiving scholarships today are among the most vulnerable. We’re deeply grateful for GrowMax’s support — it means a lot to our school and our students.”
The GrowMax Scholarship Program — co-organized by GrowMax Group and the Vietnam Agriculture & Environment Newspaper — has been implemented for many years and continues into 2025.
Each year, thousands of students across Vietnam benefit from the program, which offers both practical support and hope for a brighter educational journey.
