GrowMax Brings Mid-Autumn Joy and Compassion to Underprivileged Children

GrowMax Group, in collaboration with the Vietnam Agriculture & Environment Newspaper, brought the program “Moonlight of Love” to students facing hardship at two schools in Ninh Bình Province: Khanh Nhac Secondary School and Hai Chinh Primary School.

Amid the joyful start of a new academic year and the anticipation of the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival, the nation is focusing on nurturing its future generations. In the spirit of that collective compassion, GrowMax and its partners delivered heartfelt gifts to these schools — not just in the form of material support, but as a source of spiritual encouragement to help students move forward on their journey to knowledge.

The Power of Sharing and Empathy

Seeing the innocent yet deeply meaningful joy on the students’ faces, Mr. Trần Đại Kiệt, Principal of Khanh Nhac Secondary School, could not hide his emotion.
“This new school year, our school has received great attention from the community, especially GrowMax Group. Their support has been timely and meaningful. For students in difficult circumstances, a new set of textbooks or a durable backpack is a big dream.

These scholarships not only ease the financial burden for families but also give students hope — knowing their efforts are recognized by society.
The early Mid-Autumn gifts made the children feel the warmth of the Full Moon Festival, helping them feel less left behind.”

Nguyen Hoai An, whose family is in extreme difficulty yet who has consistently achieved academic excellence, shared her thoughts during the ceremony:

“My father had a work accident and hasn’t been able to work for years. My mother is the only one supporting our family. I love them so much, so I always try to study well to help my mom someday.
This gift gives me more strength to start the new school year. I promise to study hard and not let down the love and support from everyone.”

Another student, Pham Tung Duong, Grade 8D, quietly shared:

“I love my dad a lot, even though he can’t work anymore. Sometimes I wish I could be like other kids who get to go swimming or fishing with their dads.
The gift from GrowMax gave me a Mid-Autumn Festival that was fun and full. I’m really happy today.”

A Journey of Responsibility and Love

Mr. Dang Van Thanh, Northern Regional Director of GrowMax, passionately shared the meaning behind the program:“Although we operate in the business sector, GrowMax has always believed that corporate development must go hand in hand with sustainable community growth.Caring for and nurturing the younger generation is one of the most fundamental responsibilities.Seeing the bright smiles and determination in these children gives us even more motivation to expand our scholarship programs and charitable initiatives nationwide.”

He also spoke about GrowMax’s philosophy of “giving a fishing rod instead of a fish”:“Each gift or scholarship is not just short-term support, but a spark that ignites confidence and helps these students see the value of knowledge — empowering them to shape their own futures.”

The charitable journey of GrowMax Group and the Vietnam Agriculture & Environment Newspaper at Khanh Nhac Secondary School and Hai Chinh Primary School may have ended, but the warmth and humanity left behind — like glowing lanterns — will continue to shine in the Full Moon night.

This is a beautiful testament to the power of sharing — showing that, no matter the circumstances, when a community comes together, the path to school for disadvantaged children will always be lit by hope and belief. The gifts of this new school year and Mid-Autumn Festival will surely serve as invaluable encouragement, inspiring the students to continue succeeding on their journey to knowledge.
