On the afternoon of October 16, GrowMax Scholarship Fund continued to accompany and donate 10 bicycles to students in difficult circumstances at Tran Van On Secondary School (Hamlet 8, Bac Lieu City, Bac Lieu Province).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, Vice Principal of Tran Van On Secondary School, shared: The school has nearly 500 students, of which 50 students are in difficult circumstances, most of their parents work for a living.

Le Nguyen Ba Vuong, a student in class 9/1 at Tran Van On Secondary School, shared: My parents are divorced, I live with my father. In recent years, my father has had heart disease and spinal pain and cannot work, so he has temporarily returned to live with his paternal grandparents.

According to his classmates, despite his family’s difficult circumstances, Vuong always strives to study and has been an excellent student at the school for many years.

According to Vuong, he has to walk nearly 2km to school every day, and if he has two sessions a day, he has to walk nearly 8km to school. When the teachers informed him that he would receive a bicycle, he cried tears of joy.

As one of the students with difficult circumstances, Tran Truc Ngan, a student of class 9/2, Tran Van On Secondary School, shared: This is a meaningful gift for me and my family. Thanks to this bike, it will be more convenient for me to travel, go to school, save time and have more motivation to study. I promise to try to study hard to not disappoint everyone’s expectations.

Previously, in Bac Lieu, the GrowMax Scholarship Fund donated 20 bicycles to two secondary schools: Nguyen Thi Minh Khai (Ward 5, Bac Lieu City) and Vo Thi Sau (Ward 3, Bac Lieu City).

To date, the GrowMax Scholarship Fund has donated nearly 200 bicycles to disadvantaged students in Bac Lieu province.
