
On September 24, Sài Gòn Giải Phóng (SGGP) Newspaper and GrowMax Group (based in Lộc An – Bình Sơn Industrial Park, Long Thành Commune, Đồng Nai Province) cooperated with the Hà Tĩnh Department of Education and Training to present scholarships to disadvantaged students affected by natural disasters in Hà Tĩnh Province.
The event was attended by Mr. Võ Trọng Hải, Chairman of the Hà Tĩnh Provincial People’s Committee; Ms. Nguyễn Thị Nguyệt, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Hà Tĩnh; Mr. Nguyễn Ngọc Anh, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper; Mr. Mai Văn Hoàng, Chairman of GrowMax Group; along with representatives of local authorities, school administrators, students, and parents.

As part of the program, the delegation visited several locations to present scholarships. At the Fatherland Front Committee of Sông Trí Ward, 90 scholarships (VND 1 million each) were awarded to students from local preschools, primary, and lower secondary schools in Sông Trí Ward and Hải Ninh Ward.

At Kỳ Anh High School in Sông Trí Ward, the delegation granted 60 scholarships, each worth VND 1 million, and donated VND 60 million to the school to improve its infrastructure and teaching conditions.
At Đức Thọ Commune Cultural Center, 150 scholarships (each worth VND 2 million) were distributed to students from 15 preschools, primary, and lower secondary schools across the commune

The total value of scholarships and infrastructure support granted during the program amounted to VND 510 million, fully sponsored by GrowMax Group through the coordination of SGGP Newspaper. This initiative aims to uplift the spirits of students in hardship, helping them persevere in their education and overcome life’s challenges..

Speaking at the event, Chairman Võ Trọng Hải expressed his appreciation for the program: “I was delighted to hear about this scholarship initiative and made it a point to attend personally. My heartfelt thanks to GrowMax Group and SGGP Newspaper for their meaningful contribution.”
He also delivered a message to the students:“Knowledge is the foundation for escaping poverty and building a prosperous, dignified future. I hope this generous support will inspire Hà Tĩnh’s students to study harder, develop strong character, and become responsible citizens.”

On behalf of local authorities, Mr. Phan Văn Quang, Chairman of Sông Trí Ward, shared: “These scholarships do more than address immediate financial needs — they ignite hope and reflect our nation’s beautiful tradition of mutual support.”
Representing the students, Hồ Thị Ánh Tuyết (Class 10A6, Kỳ Anh High School) said emotionally: “Each scholarship is a gesture of love and belief in us. We promise to use this gift wisely and strive harder in our studies to live up to the trust placed in us.”

Representing SGGP Newspaper, Deputy Editor-in-Chief Nguyễn Ngọc Anh thanked the Hà Tĩnh leadership and education sector for their support and coordination in making the scholarship program a success.
