GrowMax Group, in collaboration with the Vietnam Agriculture & Environment Newspaper, has just awarded 20 scholarships to 20 outstanding students overcoming hardship at Ky Tho Primary School.
On October 6, in Ky Khang Commune, Ha Tinh Province, GrowMax Group, in collaboration with the Vietnam Agriculture & Environment Newspaper, presented 20 scholarships to outstanding students at Ky Tho Primary School who come from poor, near-poor, or otherwise disadvantaged households.
These scholarships — described as “small gifts that spark big hopes” — were part of the GrowMax Scholarship Fund, dedicated to supporting children in Vietnam’s coastal regions.

Ky Tho Commune, already a disadvantaged area, was severely impacted by Storms No. 5 and No. 10, leaving many families in dire need. According to Mr. Kieu Duc Anh, Principal of Ky Tho Primary School, the school currently has 406 students from Grades 1 to 5, with over 90% coming from farming households living in poverty or hardship.
Dozens of students are from poor or near-poor families, policy-beneficiary households, or other vulnerable groups — all of whom are in need of community support.
“The GrowMax Scholarship Fund’s special attention to our students carries tremendous humanitarian value. These scholarships not only provide motivation for the children to persevere in their studies but also teach them the importance of compassion and mutual support from a young age.We are sincerely grateful to GrowMax Group and the Vietnam Agriculture & Environment Newspaper for this meaningful support,” Mr. Duc Anh shared.

“I’m really happy to receive this scholarship. I’ll give it to my parents so they can buy me books and school supplies to help me study better,” Gia Han said.
Similarly delighted, Do Tran Nguyen Vu Anh, a Grade 2B student, smiled throughout the entire ceremony.“My family is very poor. My mother works alone to support me.To me, one million VND is a lot of money. I’m so thankful to the kind sponsors for giving me this scholarship. I promise to study hard and not let down my teachers, my mom, or those who have supported me.”
